The starting location is a short drive from Aberdeen, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. This is a pretty short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. This section of Humptulips River - West Fork is 3.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater
to be a class IV+ section. The wild scenery of the Olympic Mountains is great. There's camping available near Humptulips River - West Fork. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. The wonderful Washington scenery and the
