For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Briefly about the general area: All through the long summer days highs here at Icicle Creek reach the 60's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime   this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Icicle Creek. A large amount of rainfall falls at Icicle Creek; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If the weather is good here at Icicle Creek, you can go for a hike along the Icicle Trail.
