down Icicle Creek make the trip here worthwhile. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Ida Creek to Snow Creek trailhead section is one of them. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here.
Briefly about the general area: Take a hike on the Icicle Trail,
and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Snow Lakes Trail. At Icicle Creek all through the months of summer highs are in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight
