Ingalls Creek Road to Peshastin Creek section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS IV 1 miles
The nature scenery of Washington and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. This is an extremely short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whether you're whitewater rafting
or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. This stretch of Ingalls Creek in Washington is 1 miles long and it is classified as a class IV section by American Whitewater. There are no other stretches to paddle along Ingalls Creek than the Ingalls Creek Road
to Peshastin Creek stretch. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Ellensburg, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come.
