The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Yakama Reservation to Leidl Campground section of Klickitat River in Washington is 21 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III+ section. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff.
