The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Klickitat Springs to Fishing Access section is just one of them. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for     more. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beautiful scenery of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Klickitat River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your camp stove. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Klickitat   River commonly tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Klickitat River dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
