The Green Fork to Sunset Falls section of Lewis River - East Fork in Washington is 5.5 miles long and has been rated as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting
a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Green Fork to Sunset Falls stretch is just one of many. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds
nearby. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere.
