This section of Lewis River - North Fork is 3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III section. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The wild scenery     of the Northern Cascade Range is great. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is a somewhat short section so better bring some good walking shoes. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Twin Falls to FR 88 section is just one of many. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Going for a hike on the Table Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure. The high level of rain makes Lewis River - North Fork a quite wet place; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July. During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are   in the 70's at Lewis River - North Fork with overnight lows in the 40's.
