This stretch of Little Naches River in Yakima/Kittitas County is 9.5 miles long and is a class II-III+(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Yakima/Kittitas County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. A good workout
and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This is the only paddling section along Little Naches River. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily
run it on an afternoon. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy.

the months is July. All through the summer here at Little Naches River, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Little Naches River overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
