The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t     have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. This stretch is short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The Fall Creek to Lake Creek Campground stretch is the only paddling stretch along Little Wenatchee River. The nature scenery of Chelan County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Briefly about the general area: Little Wenatchee River is a quite wet place frequently with lots of rainfall; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around   here, and July on the other hand is the driest. At Little Wenatchee River all through the warm months highs are in the 60's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Little Wenatchee River descend into the 10's.
