If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your camp stove. The Drake Creek to Methow River confluence stretch is the only paddling stretch along Lost River. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: Through the warm months at Lost River highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
