The wonderful Washington scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state     is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The McFarland Creek access to Pateros stretch of Methow River in Washington is 16.2 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater. Briefly about the general area: Throughout the long summer days at Methow River temperatures are generally in   the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Methow River are in the 10's.
