The nature scenery of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Miller River will make you feel great. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The East Fork to NE Old
Cascade Highway section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number
of good rivers. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
