Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The wonderful King County scenery and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. This stretch     is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. Briefly about the general area: Miller River is a reasonably wet place commonly with lots of rain; most of the rain falls throughout December, and the driest month of the year is July. Through the warm months at Miller River highs are frequently in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's.
