  The along FR 6412 stretch of Miller River - East Fork is 1 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. The natural beauty of King County and the water
    flowing gracefully down Miller River - East Fork are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
This is a very short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the along FR 6412 section is one of them. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. There's camping available near Miller River - East Fork.

So many exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range, just fantastic. The high level of rainfall makes Miller River - East Fork a relatively wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July
 
on the other hand is the driest.
A short journey to Florence Falls is always worthwhile, and a magnificent location nearby is Camp Robber Valley. All through the days of summer at Miller River - East Fork temperatures are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Miller River - East Fork.
