This stretch of Miller River - East Fork in Washington is 1 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class V section. The scenic beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Miller River - East Fork have people coming here. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This is an extremely short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. This river system has a few good paddling stretches
and the along FR 6412 section is one of them. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking,
either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
