  The nature scenery of King County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The along FR 6412 section of Miller River - East Fork is 1 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater.
    Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. The beauty of the Northern
Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. This stretch is very short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too.

Briefly about the general area:
Miller River - East Fork is a quite wet place generally with lots of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is typically the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range.

Falls; if you yearn for a little side visit, try Camp Robber Valley. Through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Miller River - East Fork, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Miller River - East Fork.
