The along FR 6412 stretch of Miller River - East Fork is 1 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. flowing gracefully down Miller River - East Fork are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
This is a very short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the along FR 6412 section is one of them. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. There's camping available near Miller River - East Fork.
