  This stretch of Miller River - East Fork in Washington is 1 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class V section. The scenic beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Miller River - East Fork have people coming here. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This is an extremely short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. This river system has a few good paddling stretches
    and the along FR 6412 section is one of them. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking,
either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.

Briefly about the general area:
Miller River - East Fork sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Miller River - East Fork get into the 70's; the overnight
 
is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Miller River - East Fork temperatures drop to the 30's.
Put some time aside to spend at Florence Falls since you're here at Miller River - East Fork, and you might also want to pay a visit to Camp Robber Valley if you're here at Miller River - East Fork. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range.
