The beautiful scenery of King County and the playfulness of the water beats anything. This section is quite short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The campgrounds here at Money Creek are pretty good. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section of Money Creek in Washington is 2.9 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V section. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like
this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Since you're on this
site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Upstream of Money Creek Road Bridge stretch is the only paddling stretch along Money Creek.
