This section of Naches River is 34 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III section. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Ellensburg, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The nature scenery of Yakima County and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers.
