Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. The scenic beauty of Chelan County and the playfulness of the water     have people coming here. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon.
