Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There are many good hotels to choose from, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. A good workout and     just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The campgrounds here at Nason River are pretty good.
