  The natural beauty of Washington and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The Mt. Baker Wilderness to Nooksack Falls section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up
    quick. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. This stretch of Nooksack River - North Fork is 4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater
a class V section of whitewater. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near.
