If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The nature scenery of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Nooksack River - North Fork attract people from near and far. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels
