the to confluence with Lower Wind River section is the only one. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip.

Creek you can take a hike along the Huckleberry Trail, and the Cedar Creek Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Panther Creek typically gets a good deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
