The nature scenery of Washington and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're     willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are no other stretches to paddle along Peshastin Creek than the Highway 97 culvert to Wenatchee River stretch. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good spots for that around here.
