This section of Quinault River in Jefferson County is 3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V section of whitewater. If you're coming from Aberdeen it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. A good workout and     a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. The Pony Bridge to Graves Creek stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The wonderful Jefferson County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. The Olympic Mountains scenery is wonderful. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is a bit of a short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. High temperatures at Quinault River all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Quinault River temperatures fall to the 30's.
