The Geoduck Creek to Kimta Creek section of Quinault River - North Fork in Washington is 3 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Jefferson County and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The starting
    location is a short drive from Port Angeles, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Geoduck Creek to Kimta Creek stretch is one of them. You might be into whitewater rafting
or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The beauty of the Olympic Mountains is a great plus for this river. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The campgrounds here at Quinault River - North Fork are pretty good.
