The Steep Creek to Rayan-Allen Bridge section of Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary is 5.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. The wonderful Klickitat County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because
it is a very popular destination. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The campgrounds here at Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary are pretty good. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river.
