The beautiful scenery of Clark County and the water flowing gracefully down Rock Creek - Lewis drainage have people coming here. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so better not forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots     of paddling spots. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. The Dole Valley Road to East Fork Lewis River section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over.
