  The West Boundary Road Bridge to Q-100 Bridge stretch of Salmon River in Jefferson/Grays Harbor County is 8.2 miles long and it is classified as a class II(IV) section by American Whitewater. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch has
    has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There are no other stretches to paddle along Salmon River than the West Boundary Road Bridge to Q-100 Bridge stretch. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. There
aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. When you're paddling down a Olympic Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The wonderful Washington scenery and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile.
