The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often more challenging than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The wonderful Mason County scenery and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and a chance to     spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. This is a very short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
