Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that many runs in this state are not easy. | for a while will make you glad you came. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is a very short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.

High temperatures at Sherman Creek during the summertime are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Sherman Creek temperatures drop to the 10's.
