  The Sunset Falls to Railroad Bridge section of Skykomish River is 4.5 miles long and is a class III+(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. The wonderful Washington scenery and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. No matter if you're whitewater rafting
    or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There's camping available near Skykomish River. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Sunset Falls to Railroad Bridge section is just one of many. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but
if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful.
