  The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The nature scenery of King County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places.
    This stretch of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork is 4.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. The Tanner
to North Bend stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. The starting location is a short drive from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. There aren’t any hotels right nearby  
but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.

A trip to Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Kanaskat-Palmer State Park, and there are plenty of folks from North Bend here. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork without popping by Olallie State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork; Mount Defiance Trail is a good local trail.
