  The beautiful scenery of King County and the cool fresh water beats anything. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Great exercise and a chance
    to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Tanner to North Bend stretch of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork in Washington is 4.5 miles long and is a class II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nearby hotels are a bit away from
the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places.
