This stretch of Snoqualmie River - South Fork is 5 miles long and has been rated as a class II section by American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Snoqualmie River - South Fork are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t
have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are
great reasons to come. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots.
