This section of Soleduck River in Washington is 3.1 miles long and has been rated as a class IV section by American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting     and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This is a somewhat short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The Salmon Cascade to FR 2918 Bridge stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. The beauty of the Olympic Mountains is a great plus for this river. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
