The scenic beauty of Clallam County and the water flowing gracefully down Soleduck River have people coming here. The campgrounds here at Soleduck River are pretty good. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. When you're paddling down a Olympic Mountains river like this one you always     get great scenery along the way too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The wintertime comes   with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Soleduck River through the winter regularly plunge into the 30's.
