The put-in is not too far from Port Angeles, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The scenic beauty of Clallam County and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section of Soleduck River - North Fork in Clallam County is 5.3 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. The North Fork Trail Bridge to FR 2918 Bridge section is one of many paddling sections
in this river system. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around here. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. If you've been whitewater rafting
and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The wild scenery of the Olympic Mountains is great. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip.
