This stretch of South Praire Creek in Washington is 6.6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V section. The East Fork to Spiketon Road stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This stretch is mid     length, suitable for an afternoon trip. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more.
