The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The nature scenery of Spokane County and the water flowing gracefully down Spokane River make the trip here worthwhile. This stretch is     mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. No need to look hard for hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. Summertime at Spokane River arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Spokane River.
