The wonderful Skagit/Snohomish County scenery and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
