The put-in location is a short drive from Mount Vernon-Anacortes, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The wonderful Snohomish County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. And of course, there
