The wonderful Snohomish County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Stillaguamish River - South Fork are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The put-in location is a short drive from Mount Vernon-Anacortes, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
