If you're coming from Mount Vernon-Anacortes it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. The wonderful Washington scenery and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often more challenging than in other states, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy
