The natural beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Suiattle River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. Suiattle River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Sulphur Creek to Rat Trap Bridge section is the only one. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There
aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots
of people. This section of Suiattle River in Washington is 16 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III+ section. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff.

the driest. Throughout the summer months at Suiattle River highs are typically in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Suiattle River dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
