This stretch of Taylor River in King County is 3 miles long and is a class IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. The nature scenery of King County and the water flowing gracefully down Taylor River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you
coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This is a pretty short section so you'll have to walk back to the start
over and over. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are no other sections to paddle along Taylor River than the Marten Creek to Middle Fork Snoqualmie section.
