Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. There's camping available near Teanaway River. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length     for a morning trip. The wonderful Washington scenery and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the North Fork Teanaway to East Masterson Road stretch is one of them. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. This stretch of Teanaway River is 7 miles long and it is classified as a class II+ section by American Whitewater. Briefly about the general area: Summertime at Teanaway River comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures   drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Teanaway River are in the 10's. Teanaway River gets a large amount of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July meanwhile is the driest month.
