The Johnson Creek to Stafford Creek stretch of Teanaway River - North Fork in Washington is 3.9 miles long and has been rated as a class III+ section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Kittitas County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. This section is quite short so no need to bring snacks. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are a few other sections in this river system     that can be paddled as well. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good spots.
