This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder     to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. Tieton River gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the snow is December; the driest month of the year is July. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Tieton River while night lows are usually   in the 50's.
