The Morton to Bremer section of Tilton River in Lewis County is 8.5 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The put-in is not too far from Centralia, as you can see on the road map further down. The scenic beauty of Lewis County and the playfulness of the water beats anything. The Morton to Bremer section is one of many paddling sections in this river system.
Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots
of paddling places. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you
can camp. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.

Briefly about the general area:
Ike Kinswa State Park is a fine spot to take a look at on a lovely day; a short tour to Weasel Spring is always worthwhile. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Tilton River is a site with many visitors from Morton, and don't leave Tilton River without first going for a hike along the Fawn Lake Trail. At this river you will never have a bad time. Summer at Tilton River comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, typically in the 40's.
