The Bremer to Ike Kinswa State Park stretch of Tilton River in Washington is 11 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often more challenging than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. Whether you're whitewater     rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your sleeping bag. The starting point is not too far from Centralia, as you can see on the road map further down. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: If you're here, you might as well have a look at Bear Canyon. Tilton River is a wet spot that gets a great   deal of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Tilton River through the summer are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Tilton River.
