The natural beauty of Lewis County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. If you're coming from Centralia it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get     great scenery along the way too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Bremer to Ike Kinswa State Park stretch of Tilton River in Washington is 11 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling places. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. Briefly about the general area: At Tilton River through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer   overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Tilton River.
