The put-in is not too far from Centralia, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the above Tilton confluence stretch is one of them. You might

River - North Fork in -blank- County is 2.5 miles long and it is classified as a class IV section by American Whitewater. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here.
