On     this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch of Tolt River - North Fork in King County is 7 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V+ section.
