The natural beauty of Washington and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are some good stretches to paddle     in this river system, the Yellow Creek to South Fork Tolt stretch is one of them. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus.
