  Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. The scenic beauty of Snohomish County and the cool fresh water beats anything. The to National Forest Sky section is the only paddling section along Trout Creek. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery.
    Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There's camping available near Trout Creek. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around
here you'll find a large number of good rivers. The to National Forest Sky stretch of Trout Creek in Washington is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V+ section of whitewater.

Briefly about the general area:
Snowslide Gulch is a great location to spend some time at. Through the summertime months here at Trout Creek, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Trout Creek during the winter typically plunge
 
into the 20's.
Trout Creek is a reasonably wet place regularly with a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture.
