  The to National Forest Sky stretch of Trout Creek is 2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. The wonderful Washington scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. There are no other stretches to paddle along Trout Creek than the to National Forest Sky stretch. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river
    if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. Whitewater rafting and
kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This stretch is short so no need to bring snacks.

Briefly about the general area:
High temperatures at Trout Creek throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Trout Creek during the wintertime frequently descend into the 20's. A good deal of rain falls at Trout Creek; of all the months
 
in a year November is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.
While staying at Trout Creek you could always look at Snowslide Gulch.
