to National Forest Sky section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS V+ 2 miles
The to National Forest Sky stretch of Trout Creek is 2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. The wonderful Washington scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. There are no other stretches to paddle along Trout Creek than the to National Forest Sky stretch. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river
if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. Whitewater rafting and
kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This stretch is short so no need to bring snacks.
