Briefly about the general area: Snowslide Gulch is a great location to spend some time at. Through the summertime months here at Trout Creek, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Trout Creek during the winter typically plunge   into the 20's. Trout Creek is a reasonably wet place regularly with a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture.
