Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. The scenic beauty of Snohomish County and the cool fresh water beats anything. The to National Forest Sky section is the only paddling section along Trout Creek. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery.

into the 20's. Trout Creek is a reasonably wet place regularly with a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture.
